IPL Stands for Intense Pulsed Light Technology. It is a safe and effective solution to permanently reduce unwanted hair.

IPL works by Light waves of energy being absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair. When energy hits the dark pigment its then converted to heat which causes damage to the growing portion of the hair within the hair follicle.
The aim is to permanently damage the hair follicle sufficiently to prevent hair growth.  This causes the hair to be shed 1-2 weeks following the treatment.

As hair grows in cycles, 6-12 treatments are normally recommended.
